The Townsend Foundation, founded by Kenneth & Barbara Semmann, exists to provide funding for modest sized projects and activities related to education, environment, religion, music, and medicine. Its focus is on individuals, through their not-for-profit organzations, enabling them to engage in those things which otherwise might not be monetarily possible for them. The Foundation is governed by a board of managing members.
